New HTP ...-R-LN10 Plungers

Endmills and facemills with tangentially clamped inserts
in a diameter range of 25-50 mm

ISCAR is introducing a new HTP ...-R-LN10 side plunger that carries
the HTP LNHT 1006 ER ­ 10 mm tangentially clamped inserts on the frontal face of the tools. The new inserts are double-sided with 4 cutting edges and are available in the most advanced SUMO TEC grades. They were designed with a positive rake face for reduced cutting forces and excellent chip flow.

The new tools have coolant holes and feature high durability.
They are used mainly used for plunging but can also be used for face milling DOC up to 3 mm, producing an outstanding surface finish.
The new tools are available in diameters 25 to 40 mm in endmill configuration and 40 to 52 mm in face mill construction.
